Structural and Optical Properties of (PVA-PVP-Bi2O3) Nanocomposites: as a Theoretical Model of Environmental and Antimicrobial Applications

Abstract

In this study, the (PVA-PVP-Bi203) nanocomposites films were prepared and investigated using the casting technique with various concentrations of (0, 1, 3, and 5 wt. %). In this study, the optical properties determined by UV-Vis, OM, and FTIR spectra were revealed. The absorbance increased as the concentration of Bi2O3 nanoparticles increased, and the energy-gap (allowed and forbidden) transitions reduced as the concentration of nanoparticles increased.
