Freedom to Be: impact of CHIVA camp

Abstract

This article presents the importance of peer support for young people growing up with HIV in the UK. We provide insight in to some of the challenges young people experience, by reviewing the impact of the Children’s HIV Association (CHIVA) camp: Freedom to Be (F2B). The socio-demographics of camp participants over the last 8 years are presented and Young people’s voices are included to demonstrate impact
